Historic and cultural sites across the UK are already being impacted by climate change

Many of the UK’s most cherished historic and cultural sites are already being affected by climate change, according to a new report by the Climate Coalition. Skara Brae in the Orkney Islands and William Wordsworth’s childhood home are just two of the at-risk sites highlighted by the Coalition as it launches its annual ‘Show the Love’ campaign.

While the report lists sites in danger, it also gives twelve reasons to be hopeful, including the Scottish Government’s target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 66% in 15 years.
