Glasgow unveils UK’s first city resilience strategy

Glasgow has become the first city in the UK to publish a city-wide resilience strategy. A member of both our Adaptation Learning Exchange and of the Rockefeller 100 Resilient Cities Network, Glasgow City Council led the design of the strategy, gathering views from over 3500 residents and committing to almost 50 resiliency actions.

The Climate Ready Clyde initiative will play a vital role in delivering the strategy, along with a wide range of other local and regional partners.

The strategy covers all aspects of resilience, from climate change adaptation to improving health and building community capacity, and is available to download on the Resilient Glasgow website.
